The Quality of Life Framework (QoLF) supports schools to go beyond nationally recognised criteria for measuring academic progress.
Kiran Hingorani is Principle at Swalcliffe Park Special School, and will deliver this event. Swalcliffe took part in an international pilot, and are part of a network of QoL schools that spans twenty different countries.
The framework supports schools to capture and evaluate evidence of progress more holistically, focussing on the social, emotional, and communication development of pupils, as well as nurturing independence and self-regulation.
This is particularly relevant for pupils with SEND, for whom it may be challenging to identify valid, life-preparing pathways and outcome measures.
This event focusses on developing a deeper understanding of the framework, and setting up a Peer Observation Programme administered by Swalcliffe Park School. Whether you are a Headteacher, SENCo or member of the Senior Leadership Team, participating in peer-review is a rewarding and enriching experience that supports professional development, develops knowledge and inspires new ideas and ways of working.
It could also make a significant impact on the outcomes of pupils with SEND in your school.
This training event costs £50 + VAT, and includes lunch.
It is free to partipants at the training event at Swalcliffe school on Tuesday 5th February 2pm - 5pm.
