  • Have you introduced 'Helicopter Stories' to the children in your setting and would like ideas on how to embed it into your curriculum?

  • Have you observed the impact of implementing 'Helicopter Stories' to the children and would now like to develop your expertise further?

  • Have you experienced barriers and difficulties to delivering 'Helicopter Stories' that you would like help with finding solutions to?

  • Are you currently reviewing you Curriculum Design and would like to know how to make 'Helicopter Stories' an integral part of that?


Helicopter Stories: The Follow Up Workshop gives previous participants an ideal chance to refresh their understanding of 'Helicopter Stories' and gain valuable insights into the experiences of others in implementing the 'Helicopter Story' approach.
Within a supportive framework, Trisha will lead the workshop, using the 'real life' experiences of her own together with those of participants  to enable all to take the 'Helicopter Stories' approach to the next level, where its impact can be dynamic. 


This 1.5 hr workshop will include:



  • shared discussion about relevant experiences

  • collaborative planning in ideas on how to embed 'Helicopter Stories' throughout the year ahead

  • support and specialist advice from 'Helicopter Stories' expert and trainer, Trisha Lee

Training Objectives

  • To reflect and build on previous learning from 'Helicopter Stories' training course

  • To refresh and consolidate understanding of the principles and framework of Helicopter Stories

  • To effectively evaluate the impact of delivering Helicopter Stories and benefit from the experiences of others

  • To assess the process  of embedding 'Helicopter Stories' within your curriculum 

Learning Outcomes

  • To further develop understanding of how 'Helicopter Stories' Approach can impact on levels of achievement and progress

  • To be able to embed 'Helicopter Stories' effectively within your curriculum

  • To broaden your understanding of the principles and process of 'Helicopter Stories', enabling you to initiate and develop the approach within your school or partnership.
