Course Description

This course aims to support delegates' confidence when working with managing challenging behaviour in a classroom setting and encourages reflection on the links between social, emotional and mental health needs and challenging or worrying behaviour. It covers both theoretical and practical elements including understanding the underlying cause of behaviours; prevention and de-escalation of challenging behaviours and an opportunity to link theory to your own practice.
