Curriculum: how we got here and where next....?
In September, Amanda Spielman published an article outlining the work Ofsted have completed to date with regard to the new Framework due to be launched next year. It discusses the findings from Ofsted’s first two phases of the curriculum research/design, as well as exploring different approaches to curricula and thinking about next steps.
Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance is delighted to announce that Chris Russell, Ofsted’s Regional Director for the South East, will be giving a keynote speech at our conference where Headteachers, Governors and Senior Leaders can explore the direction of travel of Ofsted in readiness for September 2019.
Chris will be joined by Fiona Henderson and Tom Boulter (Directors of Education Primary/Secondary from the River Learning Trust), both of whom will be reflecting upon the present curricula and how their Trust is developing a new approach to curriculum design and delivery.
The aim of the day is to offer School Leaders and Governors from all phases, the chance to consider their own curriculum and to look at how it may be refined to offer young learners the best outcomes.
The conference will be free to all OTSA partner schools*.
