Course Description

++ EACH WORKSHOP IN THIS PROGRAMME HAS BEEN SET UP INDIVIDUALLY, FOR EASE OF BOOKING ++

This half day workshop is one of four workshops designed to give Headteachers, and others with line management responsibility, an understanding of, and the tools, to be able to manage school employees throughout their employment. The workshops are a mix of practical and psychological aspects of people management and are based on a case study to bring the subjects to life in a way that is easy to remember and gives you an opportunity to practice the key concepts of the subject.

This workshop will cover the theoretical concepts of change management and you will learn that understanding the psychology behind resistance to change and the natural process individuals go through will help to implement change with minimum impact.

Looking at different change models you will explore key stages of change, including getting employee buy-in and dealing with barriers to change, to find a change model that works for you.
