This half day workshop is one of four workshops designed to give Headteachers, and others with line management responsibility, an understanding of, and the tools, to be able to manage school employees throughout their employment. The workshops are a mix of practical and psychological aspects of people management and are based on a case study to bring the subjects to life in a way that is easy to remember and gives you an opportunity to practice the key concepts of the subject.
This workshop focuses on employee engagement which is a term that is now used widely but is rarely properly understood.
In the workshop you will learn the key drivers of employee engagement and how using this knowledge can improve staff commitment and performance. The workshop will also explore the signs and symptoms of disengagement and what you can do to overcome them.
