A series of six workshops, over three individual days, designed to give Headteachers, and others with line management responsibility, an understanding of, and the tools, to be able to manage school employees throughout their employment. The workshops are a mix of practical and psychological aspects of people management and are based on a case study to bring the subjects to life in a way that is easy to remember and gives you an opportunity to practice the key concepts of the subject.


Managing Performance
In this workshop you will learn how to manage the performance cycle and link this to the school’s needs. The workshop will focus on how to identify and manage under-performance, carry out skills gap analysis, prioritise training interventions and feed performance matters into one-to-one discussions including the appraisal process.

Day 1 - Wednesday 28th November 2018
Managing Performance - 9.30am to 12.30pm
Managing Absence - 1.30pm to 4.30pm


Day 2 - Wednesday 20th March 2019
Managing Disciplinary Hearings - 9.30am to 12.30pm 
Managing Grievance Hearings - 1.30pm to 4.30pm


Day 3 - Wednesday 26th June 2019
Employee Engagement - 9.30am to 12.30pm
Managing Change - 1.30pm to 4.30pm
