This training programme consists of three "hands-on" sessions, participants can attend all or just one, led by Nathan Crook an independent Mathematics consultant. Ideal for teaching staff from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.The aim is for participants to develop strategies for making maths learning meaningful to all children.


During this session participants will address how various structured apparatus can be used to develop progression in the learning and teaching of calculation across all four number operations.


 


Cost £ 40 plus VAT per participant

Training Objectives

Each session will be focused on developing teachers’ professional knowledge and practice in mathematics across Key Stage 1 and 2.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will have the opportuniy to explore fully how a variety of structured apparatus can be used to help develop the learning and teaching across all four number operations
