This training programme consists of three "hands-on" sessions, participants can attend all or just one, led by Nathan Crook an independent Mathematics consultant. Suitable for teaching staff from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.The aim is for participants to develop strategies for making maths learning meaningful to all children.
During this session , participants will explore the use of "Ants on a log"/Cuisenaire rods to support the teaching and learning of concepts from across the National Curriculum, whilst using Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract(CPA) to develop deeper conceptual understanding for their pupils
Cost per participant £40.00 plus VAT
Each session will be focused on developing teachers’ professional knowledge and practice in mathematics across Key Stage 1 and 2.
To enable teaching staff to develop teaching strategies to help them make maths more meaningful to all students
