Course Description

We know that lives can be transformed when schools work in partnership with the child, their family and other agencies. This workshop is designed to introduce you to effective person centred planning, and to offer practical tools and proven strategies that can support you to develop it in your setting.

This workshop is designed to equip TAs, NQTs, Early Career Teachers and SENDCos with an introduction to the principles of Person Centred Planning - whether they are teaching in special or mainstream education setting.

  • What is Person Centred Planning?

  • How can I implement it in my setting?

  • How do I need to rethink my practice?

The session will be led by senior leaders and experienced teachers at Endeavour Academy, a school and residential setting for children and young people with Autism and severe learning difficulties aged 9 – 19. It will be interactive, and will give participants practical guidance on how to implement person centred planning to raise outcomes for all of the children with whom they work.
